This charming watercolor was executed by a Miss. J. A. Dashwood on a tour of the British Isles. It came to us from a larger collection of travel sketches included in a portfolio kept by the artist. Sketches in graphite and watercolor included views in Switzerland, Italy, Germany and France, as well as various landscapes across the British Isles - all keen observations of a talented Grand Tourist.
